i've just decided to do it...cuz i was bored.so there =P 

HAPPY CNY everyone! abit late at this point but i just came back from singapore yesterday so...yea didnt have much time to update!

 similarly i've hardly updated cuz i've found a new job in a computer hardware warehouse- and im working everyday 9 to 5.30 so i've gotten a little lazy to update =P

i've done a fair bit of researching this holidays on making the little banners and stuff, and i've played around with photoshop and i think i've got pretty positive results.

i started out with a Cloud and Sephiroth banner, both of the being rivals and from FFVII -

i kinda like the sephiroth one better...more texture at the background 

then i made one of Jiraiya..i dont really like what i did to the text, but here it is- 

 During the holidays i managed to catch Full Metal Alchemist- reccommended by Maxine

i loved it, and i thought i'll do one of Edward: 

the actual picture doesnt blend well with the background i think...makes it look rather unnatural, if you get my gist. i like the background by itself though, i thought i did quite a nice job there =P 

then i thought...shoot i never really did a nice one for bleach, the ones i did for rukia, hitsugaya, byakuya and ichigo were pretty long ago and were pretty shit

so i decided to do a hitsugaya banner cuz Hitsugaya pwns everyone's ass- 

after looking at it for a while..i thought the repeated text looked abit gay .but the blending is awesome i think..i love it.

and while doing this hitsugaya banner i had a brainwave...how bout a banner with sasuke and itachi facing each other...as rivals that they are? 

so after some hours later...--> 

and i thought this was the best of the lot. 

 spurred on by the positive response i got from forums, i decided to take it one step further and dabble abit into wallpapers.

i made one, of Cloud of FFVII but it didnt turn out as great as i expected... 

it is, of course to poportion..my blog will go out of shape if i stuck it down, full size. thats what i've done so far, really....i desperately want to make a One Piece banner but i cant find stock..

YES i know im running a little late to be posting pictures of the New Year Party but my blog was still on hiatus, and i didnt really think that i wanted to revive this blog.EVER.seriously after that faithful shaolin tiger vs xiaxue post, i thought the blog was going to the dumps.

 But well, things happen, and viola here i am again. Blog restarted, so i though, better late then never, ne?

 Party was at Marie Lee's house, and it was a small gathering of elc people and a not so small gathering of her college friends. we had the old traditional BBQ(though i wasnt doing any of it) fried rice and we were chatting and laughing bout old times and stuff.

OMG i have to tell you guys, she had this bunch of little cousins who were just SO annoying. They were like a whole bunch of Mei Muns, downsized but with the voice amplified 10x. Running around like hyperactive nuts screaming on top of their little yet-to-be-broken voices...*shudder* i managed to get on of the kid's name...Edmund.God i'll hate that name forever.

 around dinnertime tried snapping photos of people, since i brought the camera..but most of it turned out blur for some reason so i salvaged what good ones were left and there were two of rachel =P

the picture above was when i was still sober..had two heines.Now, initially the plan was to just hang around the house till it was 12 and watch the fireworks go off in 1utama and The Curve, but with some persuasion from Fern, 7 of us elc pals drove off to the park behind 1utama to watch it.

yea thats where the pictures are SUPPOSE to be, but your smart old yow keat left his camera in his bag at Marie's place and so no pictures were available. The Curve's fireworks pwned 1utama's though. 1utama's sucked.

we did a great deal of shouting.."happy New Year!" and all that, but surprisingly very little people around us joined in.it was rather dampening, really just the 7 of us shouting our heads off.

after the whole fireworks thing ended we decided to get wasted in marie's place- so we played with two vodka shots.we had two teams, each with 5 people..and it was just my luck that i got  a team with almost zilch drinkers.

my team had me, gavin, rachel, steph and fern(the girls hardly drank but got pretty wasted anyway)

the other team had jeff, marie, shaf, jooken and thira(where only thira didnt drink)

we played blackjack- and we went through

a quater of Cordon Blue

two bottles of ice wine

and two bottles of red wine.

and all these were done in SHOTS.Even the red wine.

so most of the people got pretty fucked early on-

 in the end though, when we finally went to sleep we were all pretty much dead- had NO idea what happened throughout the night*wink* and i woke up with a hangover the next morning=/

Back in December Ping Hong , Fred, Hon Faai and i were in Langkawi and one of the days we were there we decided to rent a kancil and drive down to town ourselves.

we were in town scouting around the liqour shops and shopping malls for instant noodles, some booze and Hon Faai was comparing prices for cigs for a friend, or so he claims.

 so lunchtime comes and we were in this fairly new shopping mall- naturally we looked around for a fastfood restaurant. spotting a familiar sight, i exclaimed, "Hey why dont we go to KFC?"

The others agreed and so we walked towards the outlet.

casually we glanced around the outlet again and saw this

erm..what? our good old colonel got a mutation and turned into a chicken while in his usual clothing, and its KLG, not KFC?

it said " Malaysia's fastfood joint" or something like that, so to see how low malaysian fastfood could go, since we were such patriotic malaysians, we decided to stick to it and see how the foods like(it was cheap anyway).

to be fair i guess the food doesnt look all that bad-

but its taste was nothing to boast about.My mum makes way better chicken wings. heck i bet I could make better ones.but it WAS cheap, so it was rather worth it. looking around the outlet, i can't help but think how much it ressembles a KFC outlet(to me at least).

i mean, it DOES sorta remind you of KFC, ne? but taking a second look, i realised i was WRONG.

Someone PLEASE tell me why of all billions of living organisms they choose to place flies in a restaurant? GIANT flies at that...is this suppose to scare of other smaller flies or is it suppose to employ some reverse psycology thing where we eat better after seeing it?

the four of us, being really amused, decided to figure out what KLG stood for.

we couldnt think of ANYTHING, mainly cuz it it didnt have an A or C which would basically stand for Ayam or Chicken in it.Undeterred, however, we continued brainstorming until Ping Hong came up with this brainwave-

yes i realised i'm alittle LATE for this, but hey our dates are still on the single digits right?

 so anyway..here goes-

 New Year Resolutions

1. exercise and lose weight! im aiming at 20kg, but REALISTICALLY,  im looking at around 10kg first?

-exercise , weights, and eating healthier food

im forcing myself to do 15 reps on each hand with a 10kg dumb bell before i sit down on my computer...and its good so far cuz i started out with 10reps. i'm aiming for 20(?) if i can do it. =P 

eating oatmeal cereals for breakfast, its like full fibre or something and i skive off lunch, and have a light dinner.

2. get myself a girlfriend. saying that actually sounds like i'm taking a lasso  and just lasso-ing one...but i might do just that cuz suppose i sound rather desperate arent i?

3. buck up in my studies- my past sem results was hardly anything i could be proud of, seriously.3credits and 1 distiction? totally sucks...majorly(is that even a word?).so i've decided i have to also draw up a study time table thing that i will follow by every week, and hopefully i will adhere by it long enough to get my grades up.

i cant think of anything else now, seriously.

but these three are like my top priority for the year- so wish me luck in achieving them =) 

i suddenly have this urge to say so many things, but i dont know how to put it down in words.i feel like...i really wanna speak to someone about it, but the ones who are usually there for me..seem to be..distant..or unavailable. i thought i would have lost this blog of mine forever since i've completely given up on posting, and i've completely given up on coming up with interesting posts for people to read. But then it struck me- the blog primarily IS and online diary, so i suppose i have sorta deviated from it and i have tried to be like kennysia or xiaxue, ne?

so with people i usually turn to unavailable, i turn back to you, blog and whatever readers i might still have. i suppose i have bored you enough already with the subject i am about to discuss, but it hard not to think about it when it exists with you day in day out.

i'm of course, talking about my skin.yea sure, we continue with the usual jazz about how i shouldnt bother about it, how i should be proud of what i am inside and not outside, how true beauty is never skin deep, yadayadayada. i have never really thought about it until this sumer holidays.why? cuz this summer hols mark the first summer where i actually start drinking, going out to parties and all.although it isnt much compaired to many of other people, i've sorta got the privilege of meeting a few girls here and there at the parties..and what bothers me really is when i talk to the or when i try to get their emails or something. i suppose sometimes its me but im sure you cant help but think...'damn why the hell is someone like me with this kinda skin condition asking this girls email?!' so i what i really wanna know is...does it really, truthfully and honestly bother anyone of you who read my blog, those who know me personally?dont take it like you are my friend, take the question as like you are someone who ses me for the first time and jedges me. maybe i AM just self concious.i dunno. But you gotta agree with me that having seen people around you all your life and you being the only one so far with this condition, YOU would be self concious too, right? and OH btw people...happy new year to all of you!!

okay i had enough im suppose to post up a post on langkawi with all the pictures and all, but until this day i havent finished it yet and its still hanging in mid air.

and im going for his birthday tonight at TGIF.wheee~ freee food 

i hardly update nowadays don't i?i guess i'm getting lazy..=P

 so! plans for the holidays so far!

-going to langkawi with Ping Hong, Fred and Hon Faai on the 22nd to 25th.Probably gonna have big drinking parties (well not THAT big) and alot of hangovers.

-going to hartamas this friday(tomorrow) for joanna's farewell..shes going off to korea for like 2 months i think. Come to think of it she said hartamas but she didnt mention hartamas where..hm.and she said she was expecting alot of drinking.=/

-have a formal party to attend( best girlfriend and her mother's birthday celebration) gonna be dancing and all!!!WHOOHOO!dancing man!i havent danced since...since.. graduation prom! 

- probably going down singapore sometime in december..with family this time i guess.gonna meet cousins again...yay!

 work tomorrow.i have that guy brings chairs to the booth tomorrow..or im gonna face 30 hours of standing this weekend.
